Woman facing forward.

What is your favorite book, eBook, DVD, or music score?

My favorite book is Tell No One by Harlan Coben

Why did you choose this item to share with the library?

My fifth-grade teacher told me about this book! He was a big inspiration for me and was one of the many adults that molded me into the strong-willed person I am today! This book also began the love I have for all things psychological thriller; so, I definitely recommend it.

What is your major?

My major is Psychology.

What was the most memorable/useful thing about working in the library?

The most memorable thing about working in the library would have to be working with the diverse culture of the Sonoma State students. Meeting new students and seeing regulars every day of my shift was my favorite part of working in the library. Also, working with such an amazing team each shift was something I looked forward to each day!

What advice would you give to incoming SSU (e.g., freshman) students?

The advice I would give to incoming SSU students would be to be yourself. I know that is such a cliché however, clichés are clichés for a reason. Starting college is a huge milestone in your life so make your happiness a priority and be gentle with yourself in the process!

What is next for you?

What's next for me is a gap year of work, gaining experience in the field of psychology! During that gap year, I hope to obtain my Associates degree in American Sign Language and then work my way towards getting my ED.S. degree in school psychology (to become a school psychologist, which is my overall goal).
