Apply Now to be a Library Student Assistant in Fall

Applications are open for University Library student assistant positions for this coming academic year! The Library's student assistant program trains our students in many different aspects of library work, from fielding patrons' questions to working in our Automated Retrieval System to shelving books, so that students' college experience is enriched by their time with us, says Public Services Librarian Nicole Lawson. "We're really empowering the student assistants to be the face of the Library," Lawson says. "They're ambassadors to other students who might not come into the Library." To apply, fill out a form and bring it into the Library, or mail it to: Library Administration—Student Employment University Library, Room 3070 Sonoma State University 1801 E. Cotati Avenue Rohnert Park, CA 94928 For more on the program, visit our page on Student Jobs in the Library.
