Awesome work from our Special Collections Student Assistants

A shout-out to Sara Dinari and Gracie Lock, student assistants for Library Special Collections this past year, who authored a piece just published in the Society of American Archivists’ Archival Outlook newsletter on their work to help us digitize the World War I Tanner letters, and their detective work to discover the history of the Tanner family in Santa Rosa. You can read their article "Finding Edward: Discovering the Character and Fate of a World War I Veteran" online. And you can read some of the Tanner Letters yourself in our North Bay Digital Collections.
