Come Find Out What Digital/Critical Is All About

Are you looking for ways to refresh your research assignments, engage your students, and introduce new critical thinking skills into your class? Come hear from your colleagues about their experiences with Digital/Critical

The Digital/Critical cohort is a group of faculty and librarians collaborating to transform traditional research papers into new, creative multimedia assignments. Students learn to think critically about using media to convey information and gain twenty-first-century digital skills. Projects include video case studies, digital policy briefings, data visualizations, and more. Come see how this year's group of faculty changed their courses in exciting and compelling ways!

What: Presentations by Elizabeth Stanny and Nicole Lawson, David McCuan and Laura Krier, Cathy Kroll and Caitlin Plovnick...and some student speakers, too!

When: Wednesday, March 2, 2016, 10:00 a.m. – noon

Where: Schulz 3001, on the 3rd floor of the Library

RSVP: Project Coordinator, Felicia Kalker, felicia.kalker@sonoma.edu
