Explore the Groovy '60s at the Library's Wikipedia Edit-a-thon

The '60s are back this Wednesday, November 18, when the Library hosts its Wikipedia edit-a-thon around the theme of The '60s: Groovy, Baby. The drop-in workshop will help Wikipedia beginners and experienced editors improve articles on Wikipedia using University Library resources, as well as learn the ins-and-outs of how to edit the free, online encyclopedia project.

"We're excited to continue the edit-a-thon tradition," says librarian Hilary Smith, who is organizing this semester's edit-a-thon. "It presents many wonderful opportunities for students to develop information literacy skills."

The workshop will be Wednesday, November 18, from noon to 3 p.m. in the Library's Quiet Study Room on the third floor. You can bring a laptop, or use one of the Library's. This event is free and open to everyone! Snacks will also be served.
