#FinalsCountdown: Make Time for Yourself

And share your own tips using the hashtag #FinalsCountdown! During the crazy cramming that is finals, it's easy to forget to take care of yourself. Don't! Make time to get 8 hours of sleep, wash, eat healthy, and relax, Seawolves. A good night's sleep will help your brain process and remember everything you've been learning, and will help you concentrate on the exam, or focus when giving your final paper one last read. And whole grains, fish, nuts and berries are proven to help keep your brain healthy, so when you're snacking, try reaching for fresh fruit instead of Fritos! Pumpkin seeds, for instance, are a portable snack that is supposed to be great for memory. And finally, take time to just relax. Take a shower or kick back with a fun book or TV show to give your brain a break. Study after study show it will make you more productive in the long run. You can do it, Seawolves!
