A Reception for John LeBaron: A Lifetime of Photography

Truck on the Petaluma Bridge, by John LeBaron

You are invited to a reception 4 p.m. – 6 p.m., Wednesday, March 23, to celebrate the exhibit, John LeBaron: A Lifetime of Photography, on display in the 2North Gallery at Sonoma State University Library.

John LeBaron spent 20 years as a photojournalist, many of them for the Press Democrat newspaper in Sonoma County, and taught photography at Santa Rosa Junior College for more than 30 years. His photographs reflect both his keen eye and his artistic perspective, whether trained on landscapes, individuals, or shapes and textures in the natural world.

Gaye LeBaron and her daughter Suzanne LeBaron will share reflections on John's work.  Light refreshments will be served.

RSVP to library@sonoma.edu or 707-664-2397. Off-campus visitors will need to buy a parking pass ($5.00 at the campus gate).

John LeBaron: A Lifetime of Photography will be on display through May 27, and is viewable whenever the University Library is open .
