Trends in Academic Library Learning Spaces

The world keeps changing—and our library needs to change with it.

Join us for a lecture by Will Baty, Library Facilities Planner and former Dean of Learning Resources and Instructional Technology at Santa Rosa Junior College. Will led two major building projects at SRJC: the Doyle Library in Santa Rosa, which opened in 2006, and Petaluma's Mahoney Library, which opened in 2008. He has since worked on over 30 library facilities projects. Will recently completed a tour of academic library learning spaces and learning commons. His lecture will feature photos and commentary about what he learned and how it might apply to our Library at SSU.
