Gothic Horror Fest in the Library

Come celebrate the spookiest day of the year and the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley's creation, Frankenstein, with a Gothic Horror Fest in the library! The Sonoma State University English Students Association is hosting this event, where ghost stories will be read, prizes will be awarded, and we'll celebrate all things gothic! Wear your best costume and come prepared to be spooked!

Student Newspaper Digital Collection and Display

From the beginnings of Sonoma State College to our current university, student newspapers have been a consistent part of campus life. The ten iterations of student newspapers since 1961 reflect their time and offer glimpses into the origins of issues still with us today. Topics range from anti-war activism to legal battles over censorship.
