You might like your search results better if you try searching one of these fields. "Keyword" is the default, and it means your search word could be found anywhere.
Each search field will give you different results. For example, a "title" search is more specific than "keywords anywhere." Using "title," your search word must be in the title.
Understanding Call Numbers
Call numbers are usually located on the spine of a book. Think of the call number as the address on the shelf. Malformed Frogs has a call number of QL668.E2 L298 2008. You will find this book by reading call numbers alpha-numerically.
- Go to the 3rd floor
- A-PR on the north side of the building
- PS-Z on the south side
- For this book, go to the south side
- Look for the "Q" section, then "QL"
- Look for the 600 range, and then 668.
eBooks
To access eBooks, first click on the title of the book. In the full record view, you'll see a link to online access.
Full Record View
By clicking on the title, you will see the full catalog record. This view provides more information, such as a table of contents and list of subjects covered. You can use this information to refine your search words, or click on one of the subjects to find similar items.
