A room dedicated to virtual reality has opened adjacent to the Makerspace. It features two workstations with the HTC VIVE and one with an Oculus Rift. These workstations are available for walk-up use as well as reservation. They represent part of a new project, Immersive Learning @ SSU, through which course material is supplemented to help increase engagement and enhance a students' learning experience. Faculty interested in incorporating immersive learning into their curriculum should contact Dr. Sara Kassis.
