Library Safe Zone statement:
The University Library faculty and staff are committed to making the Library a safe haven, free from discrimination based on sexual orientation, race, gender, ethnicity, religion or political affiliation.
We believe our campus is enriched and enlivened by the presence of a wide diversity of students, staff, faculty and administrators, including lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning, and of all races, ethnicities, religions, and political perspectives.
Individual Library faculty and staff have have taken the Safe Zone Pledge of Support and are willing to talk, listen, or be supportive to anyone in need and to provide referrals to the appropriate resources.
