What is your favorite book, eBook, DVD, or music score?

My favorite book is The Road to Whatever by Elliott Currie

Why did you choose this item to share with the library?

I chose this book because I resonate with the experiences shared throughout it. During my time at SSU, one of my professors had us read this book and I could not be more grateful to have had the opportunity to read it.

What is your major?

Criminology and Criminal Justice Studies (Philosophy Minor)

What was the most memorable/useful thing about working in the library?

I have so many memories and have learned so much during my time working at the library. The most memorable thing for me will be how amazing everyone is and how caring everyone is.

What advice would you give to incoming SSU (e.g., freshman) students?

Get involved on campus! There are many ways to get involved, including sports, academic clubs, and more. College is a time to find yourself and your place in this world. Take chances and make memories!

What is next for you?

I will be working full-time as an Elder Law Caseworker at Legal Aid of Sonoma County. I plan to start preparing to apply to law school. Eventually, I plan to work as an attorney in legislation reform.
