What is your favorite book, eBook, DVD, or music score?

My favorite book is On Anarchism, by Noam Chomsky.

Why did you choose this item to share with the library?

This is a fun one, Noam Chomsky is an author who undoubtedly inspired and radicalized me with his wit, passion, and ideals of experimentation and change. I think the book is a hopeful perception of the world: one I think more people should engage with critically.

What is your major?

My major is Political Science

What was the most memorable/useful thing about working in the library?

The creations that would come through our doors, and the incredible company that helped cultivate and share them. Peaceful and productive are how I would describe the Library.

What advice would you give to incoming SSU (e.g., freshman) students?

Find the spaces that make you most happy, and be sure to utilize the resources available to you: be it the climbing wall, Makerspace, or nearby coasts.

What is next for you?

I intend to hone my communication and organizing skills for union work due to a fervent desire for social and economic justice.
