I would like to add "Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis."
Why did you choose this item to share with the library?
Because it got me through a dark time. It was a reminder to girl, wash your face because things will get better.
What is your major?
My major is Sociology with a minor in Computer Science.
What was the most memorable/useful thing about working in the library?
I cannot put in words how much the library means to me. I worked there my entire college experience, and the support from staff and employees got me through so much. I am so thankful to have had such an amazing job environment that put our academics as a priority, that is rare to find. Oh, and the goodie bags we got at the end of semester were my favorite.
What advice would you give to incoming SSU students?
One advice I want to give is to incoming students is to use the resources at the library. Check if your book is on reserve or use CSU+ before you buy textbooks! Ask Ask Ask.
What is next for you?
My new chapter is going to consist of working as a counselor at a crisis residential unit, and just relaxing and taking it day by day. I have been doing a lot of arts and crafts now that I have more free time. It feels good to close one chapter and start the next.
