My undergraduate major is Psychology.
What was the most memorable/useful thing about working in the library?
The most memorable component of working at the library were all of the connections I was able to establish with staff members, other student assistants, and patrons that came through the doors. This job was a highlight of my undergraduate career.
What advice would you give to incoming SSU (e.g., freshman) students?
The most impactful piece of advice I would impart on incoming SSU students is to always take advantage of every single opportunity presented to you, no matter how busy you are. College and your education are what you make of it.
What is next for you?
Starting in June, I will be moving to pursue my PhD. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Delaware in the department of Psychological and Brain Sciences. There, I will be researching the ways in which health stressors, such as fear of cancer recurrence, influence and are moderated by intimate relationships.
