- Work closely with the dean and budget analyst to manage the library's budget, reviewing expenditures and allocations, and setting allocations and determining priorites in collaboration with the Library Council and the Dean
- Assist the Dean in leading Library Council meetings, fostering an inclusive decision-making process, facilitating cross-team communication, and ensuring key initiatives move forward
- Coordinate internal and external communication strategies, working with the Dean, faculty, and Council to establish communication plans; provide support to execute coordinated marketing and communication efforts; work collaboratively with the Dean to advance library priorities and communicate library impact to the Cabinet and University Senior Leadership
- Work with the dean on development opportunities and donor outreach and cultivation; facilitate grant development and implementation
- Provide leadership for collection development, stacks management, and metadata and systems management. Manage the library collections budget in collaboration with library faculty and the collections services team, setting allocations, tracking expenditures, and supporting the acquisition and management of materials
