Course Materials
Many instructors choose to place course materials on reserve to ensure that all students in the class have access. Watch a short video to learn how to find and borrow course reserves.
Search by course ID, instructor name, or search for the specific item you're looking for.
How to Access Course Materials
Search using your instructor's name or the course number to find any course materials that are on reserve. Look for the call number and bring the call number to the Information/Checkout Desk on the 2nd floor. The friendly folks at the desk will retrieve your requested items and check them out to you.
Most materials on reserve can be borrowed for 2 hours at a time. Most media items can be borrowed for 4 hours. Some items may be borrowed for one day, at the instructor's request.
Overdue fines for reserve items are $1 an hour for hourly loans and $5 a day for one-day loans. If reserve loans are more than 5 days overdue, a Lost Item Replacement Fee will be charged. Lost Item fees are refunded when items are returned. Overdue fines are not refunded.
When returning reserves, we recommend returning them to the Information/Checkout Desk on the 2nd floor. This will ensure they are checked in promptly, and you won't be charged overdue fines. If the library is closed, return items to the book drop near the 2nd floor entrance at the top of the ramp. They'll be checked in when the library is next open.
