Book a Study Room

If you're looking for a place to study with a group, book a group study room. Study rooms can accommodate between four and twelve people and are available to be booked during the library's open hours.

Students studying in a library study room

Our study rooms are for student use only. These are not classrooms, counseling rooms, meeting rooms or lecture spaces.

  • Reserve a study room before you use one. Reserving a room will help avoid scheduling conflicts. If you need help reserving a room, stop by the Information/Checkout Desk or call 9707) 664-2375.
  • Reservations are limited to SSU students only.
  • Reservations can be made up to two weeks in advance.
  • Reservations are limited to four hours. Only one reservation can be made per day. This helps make sure everyone has access.
  • Rooms 3010-3022 are on the 3rd floor. Room 1105 is on the 1st floor. The 3rd floor is a quiet area. Please keep doors closed and minimize noise while using 3rd floor study rooms.
  • When reserving a study room, you can filter by size. Make sure you're reserving the right size room for the number of people in your group.
  • Please leave rooms clean and return the furniture to its original location.
  • Please do not block the doors in the study rooms; it creates a safety hazard.
  • The 3rd floor closes 15 minutes before the library closes, including study rooms. End-of-day reservations will end 15 minutes before closing.
