Lyman Celtic Collection
Background
The Lyman Celtic Collection contains books of celtic literature and Irish history between the late 1800s and the early 1930s and include titles relating to the Irish Revolution. Authors represented include Liam Flaherty, Nora Connolly O'Brien, William Butler Yeats, Ida Ashworth Taylor, John Edward Walsh, Patrick Edward Joyce, Padraic Colum, and Rhys Davies.
Collection
The collection of 650 titles was donated to the Library in 1968 by Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Lyman of St. Helena, California. The books are individually cataloged and housed together in the Library’s Special Collections Department.
