Research Help
You don't need to have the perfect question before asking for research help.
Maybe you're unsure how to begin, overwhelmed by your assignment, or not even sure what your professor is asking for. A librarian can talk through your topic help you make sense of the assignment, and identify a useful next step.
Research Help is not just for advanced projects or complicated questions. You can ask for help at any stage, even if all you know is that you're confused and need some direction.
You can schedule an appointment, either in-person or online, using our Research Help Appointment Scheduler. You can chat with a librarian from our global librarian network any time, 24/7, using our Research Help Chat Service. You can send us an email, and we'll get back to you within 24 business hours. Or drop by the Research Help Desk on the 2nd floor of the library. Librarians are available to help Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. If there isn't a librarian at the desk, the staff at the Information/Checkout Desk will call someone to come work with you.
There's always a way to get help if you're stuck, and you don't even have to know what to ask.
