Spotlight on Scholarship Lectures
The Sonoma State Library is partnering again with the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) to present the Spotlight on Scholarship lecture series. Throughout the semester, SSU researchers will discuss their recent scholarship and creative projects with SSU students and colleagues as well as community members.
The second session in the semester will be led by Dr. Natalia Villanueva-Nieves on Thursday, October 8, from noon to 1 pm, when she presents The True Colors of Feeling Brown: Racialized Affect and Poetics of Space in Latina Narratives. Villanueva-Nieves is an assistant professor in the Department of Ethnic Studies & Languages. All lectures will be held in Schulz 3001.
Everyone is invited to attend and learn from these Sonoma State scholars. Light refreshments will be available.
