Burger King UK causes international uproar with sexist Twitter post.
They released a tweet on March 8th, that stated, "Women belong in the kitchen."
Critics of the tweet came immediately, for imposing sexist ideals. Others saying that the tweet was an example of primitive, old ways of thinking that need to be forgotten and unmerited.
The goal message was good-willed, the delivery was off.
Burger King UK released an apology, but it felt half-heart in their clarification, it was supposed to promote their women's culinary scholarship program.
