Background

The Student Dissent papers are a collection of materials from the library’s former pamphlet file documenting student dissent throughout the United States during the 1960s and early 1970s. The papers include original writings, reprinted journal articles, pamphlets, and bibliographies on student dissent and the antiwar movement. Campuses and organizations represented include UC Berkeley, Kent State University, San Francisco State University (then College), Harvard University, and Students for a Democratic Society.

Collected from various sources, including the library’s defunct pamphlet file, the collection is housed in one box.
