Collection

Collection items contained in one box include Tombs’ diary dated 1885 through August 1887, three pieces of correspondence, a bill of sale for a slave (1848) and an insurance advertisement. The total of eight papers in the collection provide a snapshot of the life of a young girl living in Healdsburg, California in the late 1800s.
