Background

University Archives preserves representative samplings of material produced by Sonoma State University since its founding. These vital print, graphic, and media records document the history, growth, and development of the University and support its institutional memory. 

Collection

Over 200 boxes of campus history housed in a dedicated University Archives space in the Special Collections department, including manuscript materials, media, and realia. Examples of materials in the collection include yearbooks, commencement programs, campus newsletters, publicity materials, and artifacts.
